| CellOnly | 2 | Navigation is cell based. |
| None | 0 | Navigation is not permitted in a grid. Elements cannot receive the focus. The CurrentItem and SelectedItem/SelectedItems properties must be set to a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) in order to reset them when the NavigationBehavior property is set to None. |
| RowOnly | 1 | Navigation is row based. Cells will never receive the focus. |
| RowOrCell | 3 | Navigation is row based unless a cell in a row is clicked. If a cell is clicked, then navigation from cell to cell within the row is permitted. Once the focus is moved out of the row, navigation returns to row based. |
