Xceed’s .NET components can be using a trial license key set in your code for a 45-day trial period. During this time, the components are fully functional. A trial license key can be obtained

• By email from the Xceed web site.
• In a text file installed by the Xceed Software Development Kit.

The trial period for Xceed’s components begins at the time of installation. Once the trial period has ended, a registered license key is needed to continue using them (see the License the components page for details). If you attempt to use a component after the trial period or without a registered license key, an exception will be thrown and you will not be able to use it.

Using Xceed’s .NET components during the trial period

1. Install the components using the Xceed Software Development Kit or via NuGet.
2. License the components with the trial key.
3. Evaluate the components for up to 45 days. Technical support is available during the trial period.
4. Purchase a license to continue using the components and to deploy your application.
