    Raised after the BeginningEdit event to signal that the edit process of an item in the underlying data source has begun.

    Event Data

    The event handler receives an argument of type DataGridItemEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following DataGridItemEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

    PropertyDescription
    CollectionViewGets the DataGridCollectionView to which the item will potentially be added or removed.  
    ItemGets the item to add to or remove from the CollectionView.  
    Requirements

    Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
