    Raised when the EditItem method has been called to signal that the edit process of an item in the underlying data source is about to begin.

    Event Data

    The event handler receives an argument of type DataGridItemCancelEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following DataGridItemCancelEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

    PropertyDescription
    Gets or sets a value indicating whether the process is to be canceled.  
    Gets the DataGridCollectionView to which the item will potentially be added or removed. (Inherited from Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.DataGridItemEventArgs)
    Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the event handler has completely handled the event or whether the system should continue its own processing. (Inherited from Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.DataGridItemHandledEventArgs)
    Gets the item to add to or remove from the CollectionView. (Inherited from Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.DataGridItemEventArgs)
    Remarks
    Usually, the existing values contained in an item are preserved during the BeginningEdit event and restored when CancelingEdit is raised.
