Parameters

events

A FileSystemEvents object that will be used to raise events. Cannot be NULL.

userData

Opaque data that will be passed back to the event handler when an event is raised.

When a FileSystemItem object's properties, such as Attributes or CreationDateTime, are first accessed, a snapshot of the underlying physical item's properties is taken. This snapshot is not automatically updated whenever the physical item's properties change.

Refresh re-reads the information from the physical item and updates the snapshot.
