    Gets or sets a value indicating of the column is orphaned.
    Syntax

instance.IsOrphan = value
 
value = instance.IsOrphan
    public Nullable<bool> IsOrphan {get; set;}

    Property Value

    true if the column is orphaned and therefore does not have a MergedColumn parent. false if the column is NOT orphaned and therefore has a MergedColumn parent. a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), the information is not pertinent and will not be persisted nor restored.
