Parameters

fileName

A string representing the path and filename of the layout to load. An existing path and filename must be provided.

If a ToolWindow specified in the layout does not exist in the ToolWindows collection before the layout is loaded, an exception will be thrown. Normally, a layout would be saved when the application is being closed and loaded after the ToolWindows have been added to the DockLayoutManager's ToolWindows collection.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
