When changing the item's creation date through this property, the physical item is immediately modified if it exists. If it does not exist, the date is cached and will be applied whenever this item is created.
Some types of items may not expose a creation date and time. In this case, an exception is thrown when trying to read or modify the creation date.
Other types of items that do expose a creation date and time may not have the information available. In this case, System.DateTime.MinValue is returned.
