    HasPermissions Property (SFtpFolder)
    In This Topic
    Gets a Nullable boolean value indicating if the folder supports POSIX permissions.
    Syntax
    'Declaration

    Public ReadOnly Property HasPermissions As Nullable(Of Boolean)
    'Usage

    Dim instance As SFtpFolder
    Dim value As Nullable(Of Boolean)

    value = instance.HasPermissions
    public Nullable<bool> HasPermissions {get;}

    Property Value

    true if the folder supports POSIX permissions; false otherwise. a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if support cannot be determined because the folder does not exist yet.
    Remarks
    It is not necessary for this property to be true to use Permissions. The SFtp protocol does not clearly specify a way to know if it provides permissions support. Support is determined when getting attributes from an existing file/folder. This is why the property returns a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) for an item that does not exist.
