Previous implementations of Xceed Zip for .NET (before 2.0.200) only supported this interface via the RootFolder. Only the root folder of a file system needed to implement this interface to support it for every child.
The default implementation does not break this behavior. It queries the RootFolder for Xceed.FileSystem.IBatchUpdateable support.
If a file system does not support this interface, it can override this property and simply return null (Nothing in Visual Basic). This will improve performance by avoiding unnecessary access to the RootFolder property.
