Property Value

The representation type of each FtpFile can also be specified when calling the file's FtpFile.OpenWrite and FtpFile.OpenRead methods.

If set to RepresentationType.Binary (default), the data will be sent/received as contiguous bits which are packed into the 8-bit transfer bytes. If set to RepresentationType.Ascii, it will be sent/received using the standard 8-bit NVT-ASCII representation.
