The Appearance object controls the fill effects and line properties applied on the series data points
Example
The following example will display all bars of a bar chart in blue color with yellow border
bar.Appearance.FillMode = AppearanceFillMode.Series

bar.BarFillEffect.SetSolidColor(Color.Blue)

bar.BarBorder.Color = Color.Yellow
bar.Appearance.FillMode = AppearanceFillMode.Series;

bar.BarFillEffect.SetSolidColor(Color.Blue);

bar.BarBorder.Color = Color.Yellow;
