Job Description

Xceed is currently seeking a Graphic Designer for our software products. The job location is at our Boucherville office in the Complexe 20/20 sector. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Creating all of the graphical elements of our products for the WPF and Silverlight platforms, as well as a recipe management application, in collaboration with our developers.

Qualifications

• Technical college diploma in one of the following disciplines, or the equivalent: multimedia integration, computer graphics, or graphic design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in computer graphics (vector graphics and bitmaps).
• Strong skills in illustration, sophisticated design, and typography.
• Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
• Experience in 2D animation in user interfaces (UI).
• Understanding of and interest in user interface design.
• Artistic flexibility, ability to adapt.
• Creativity, organizational skills, meticulousness, versatility.
• Ability to work in a team yet remain autonomous.

Assets

• Strong interest in new technologies related to WPF and Silverlight, such as XAML and Microsoft Expression Blend.
• Experience with Flash.
