Capturing Click event of Button in a DataCell using MVVM

Hello,

I am using Model View ViewModel pattern. I have a button inside a DataCell of Xceed DataGrid. I want to use DelegateCommand to handle the click event of the button.

Also, I dont want to write anything for the same in my Code Behind. I want everything to reside in my ViewModel.

How can this be achieved. I thought of RoutedEvents / RoutedCommands but they need some entry in the Code Behind file.

This I want to eliminate.

Requesting you to please help on the same.

NB: MouseClick on a different DataRow does not save data !

Clicking off a DataRow or DataCell loses data!

On your grid, if a DataCell is in EditMode, navigating with the keyboard (tabbing or arrow keys etc.) to a different DataCell or DataRow works perfectly. The value you have just typed in is saved back to the data (I guess EndEdit is called) and the new DataCell or DataRow becomes current and goes into Edit mode.

However if you click on any other DataCell or DataRow INSTEAD of using the keyboard, the data is lost. The new DataCell or DataRow becomes current and goes into Edit mode as before, but the old DataCell or DataRow has NOT had its EndEdit called, and so reverts back to the value there before you started typing.

What can I do to fix this???? People navigating the grid with their mouse are losing the data they type in!
