The Xceed Datagrid for WPF would really be taken up a notch if it had design time support.

"But wait" you say, "It has design support via the configuration window".

Yes, but not really.  That is limited to canned data (not my design time data).

And it is limited to showing in the space of the configuration window, not the space I have for it in my application.

Don't get me wrong, the configuration window is nice.  It gets me started quick.  But when it comes to tweaks on my grid, I have to run the application, then tweak, then run, then tweak, then run, then .......

Please consider a design time view of the gird that can use my design time data.

I have opened a feature request, to modify the DataGrid's design time capabilities to display "actual data" instead of the dummy one. We will notify you when we have any updates regarding this request. However, we do not have a timeframe regarding when this could be.
