It's in early beta but from my limited testing at this point I'd say: The best feature is that it makes wpf layout much easier, if you look at the clever way they have of configuring the wpf screen (not wysiwyg -- but even easier than that) and the "wizard" setup style. The bad side is that the controls are fairly limited; the beta can't handle even sql server time fields, and there's some complexity with the n-tier setup. Having good third-party Lightswitch "screens" or controls would be an advantage (if it's feasible).
