    Lightswitch

Is the new xceed silverlight control compatible with Lightswitch?  (I realize the latter is still in beta, so perhaps the question is whether there are any thoughts or expectations about that.)

    Re: Lightswitch

    Hi,

Our Silverlight grid does not presently support it.

What we can say at this point is that we are considering it for the future, though we cannot provide a time frame for its implementation.

    Re: Lightswitch

    Alain,
Thank you.  It's in early beta but from my limited testing at this point I'd say: The best feature is that it makes wpf layout much easier, if you look at the clever way they have of configuring the wpf screen (not wysiwyg -- but even easier than that) and the "wizard" setup style.  The bad side is that the controls are fairly limited; the beta can't handle even sql server time fields, and there's some complexity with the n-tier setup.  Having good third-party Lightswitch "screens" or controls would be an advantage (if it's feasible).
