    DataGrid v3.7 thrown an exception in VS.NET 2010's xaml design editor...

    I've created a very simple example in VS.NET 2008, then I converted the project to VS.NET 2010 and ran it - it runs just fine. However, when I opened up the Window1.xaml in the designer I get the following:

    System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException

    Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

    at System.RuntimeMethodHandle._InvokeMethodFast(IRuntimeMethodInfo method, Object target, Object[] arguments, SignatureStruct& sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeType typeOwner) at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethodFast(IRuntimeMethodInfo method, Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeType typeOwner) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture, Boolean skipVisibilityChecks) at System.Delegate.DynamicInvokeImpl(Object[] args) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at MS.Internal.Threading.ExceptionFilterHelper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate method, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)

    The Xaml is:

    <Window x:Class="First_Xceed_TestApp.Window1"

    xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"

    xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"

    xmlns:xcdg="http://schemas.xceed.com/wpf/xaml/datagrid"

    Title="Window1" Height="433" Width="648">

    <Grid>

    <xcdg:DataGridControl x:Name="grid">

    </xcdg:DataGridControl>

    </Grid>

    </Window>

    Hi Kabua,

    Our products do not officially support Visual Studio 2010 yet. If you are getting problems in VS2008 then let us know, otherwise I recommend that you wait for the .NET 4.0 version of our products to be released in order to use them in VS2010 (currently planned in early May).

    Hi Jean,

    It should work, however it's possible that there some issues as it wasn't compiled specifically for VS2010, and it is a known issue that the Configuration window in design mode won't work in VS2010.

    Hi Diane

    Have you a date of a .net 4.0 compatible release of Xceed WPF datagrid?

    I'm having exactly the same problem.  I only just bought my licence last week, will this fix be a free upgrade or do I need to pay for a completely new licence?

    Re: DataGrid v3.7 thrown an exception in VS.NET 2010's xaml design editor...

    I am having this issue using the Xceed UX DataGrid 4.0 (WPF 4 version) so I guess this is still na issue.

     The strangest thing here is that I have designer working with 3.7 version and it started today after I have installed 4.0

    Any comments?

    Thanks,

    Nikola
