Hi,

I am trying to use your Xceed Zip Compression Library to compress and uncompress some text (not files), but I could not find any examples which compresses text. 

Can anyone please provide me an example or guide me to achieve my requirement?

Also, I would like to have Xceedzip.dll of version 4.2 as my source of data (a message exchange service) sends me the compressed text using the above version if I understand correctly from the documentation which says :

"All messages sent to us should be compressed using Xceed Zip Version 4.2All messages recevied should be uncompressed using Xceed Zip Version 4.2Xceed Zip Compression functionality is provided by Xceedzip.dll (COM Component 4.2) in class XceedCompressionClass which resides under XceedZipLib (Namespace). Methods used are Compress and Uncompress for compressing and decompressing data respectively." 

Can you please suggest me a way to handle this?

I was looking at the example but there is no documentation for the vc++ version. It looks like a broken link.
