I have been searching the site but can not find a definitive answer.  Is it possible to create a multi-volume zip archive that is self-extracting?  If so, at which version was this feature included?

Unfortunately this is not supported by Xceed Zip for .NET

Hi Erich,

after a few verifications with the developer, I'm afraid that the answer to your question is no.  The Zip Compression Library (Active X) would not allow you to create a self-extractable zip over multiple files more than the Zip for .NET version, sorry.
