    Searching on a specific forum

Perhaps I am just missing this....

But is there a way to search in one specific forum?  Whenever I do a search there doesn't seem to be a option to do this...

No, there is no specific forum search. However, the search engine being a lot more "sophisticated" then our previous forum, you should easily be able to find an answer to your questions.

It's too bad this can't be fixed. I'm experiencing the same problem as the original poster.

I'm trying to obtain support for the WPF grid. Try running a search on some grid related topic like "scrollbar colors" or "header colors" for example. A good fraction of the results are for the WinForms grid with a few WPF-related results sprinkled throughout. The user is forced to weed through all of the WinForms-related stuff to ferret out the WPF-related posts that are worth viewing. Such is the nature of searching but the problem could be resolved so easily if "forum" were one of the search criteria.

    Frustrated,

David (a different David, not the original poster)

(This is the original David  heh)

Yeah thats exactly what is happening to me as well.  I am a wpf Grid user and I get a  search that returns alot of posts on the .net grid.

I also have the same issue and the problem only gets worse and worse for your customers as the no of posts. It's very annoying sometimes to spend sometime going through a thread of discussion only to find it relates to the Win Forms Grid and not the WPF grid.  You think you've found the answer and then a huge disappointment hits you!
