Invoking a read me file before unzipping.

Can anyone help me with this question? Is there a way one can invoke a "README" text file before the user unzips the contents of the zip file? I have searched a lot, but haven't found any answers.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The only alternative is to use an SFX file (self-extractor), and open a text file, but only AFTER the content of the file has been unzipped.
