Firstly, thank you for a very impressive WPF grid. I'm enjoying learning how to get the most out of it.
I have one particular example with a large data table where it was desirable to use the lazy loading features of the DataGridVirtualizingCollectionView. I've hooked it up, and done the C# necessary to get the data loading / scrolling effectively. (Unfortunately it has been a necessity with this project to handle a lot of the grid and other controls via C# rather than WPF).
I've achieved this by passing the typeof(DataRowView) to the instantiation of the view, as well as setting the auto generate variable to false before adding my own item properties. I've also added some customised foeign key configurations to the grid to allow for combo boxes in the relevant places for the right relationships.
The issue I now have is that the filter row appears to be unhooked from the usual filtering mechanisms of the grid, and despite having read through quite a lot of documentation, I can't find how to get this connected back up. It should be noted however that the filter row does display the combo box with relevant selections for where it is applicable.
The closest thing I have found is the article here: http://doc.xceedsoft.com/products/XceedWpfDataGrid/Filtering_Data.html. I'm still at a slight loss as to how to apply the detail here to a virtualizing view however.
Any help would be appreciated, I can provide source code if necessary.
