Sometime when I edit a cell, a NullReferenceException is thrown.
If I check the code of this method with reflector, I see that the property  cell.ParentColumn.CurrentRowInEditionCellState returns null but there is no check on the result.

I'm using WPF DataGrid v3.1.9069.14010

We have the exact same NullReferenceException in production! Did anyone found a workaround?

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.

We are on 3.1. Since we even got this kind of exception while leaving an idle client running we are pretty clueless about how to fix it on our side.

Do you know if this was a past issue that has been fixed in the latest version? Would upgrading to 4.0 fix our issue?

Hi Jerome,

Version 4.0 of the DataGrid is for use in Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0. If you are working in .NET 3.5 or older, then you would want version 3.7 of the DataGrid.

You can download these latest versions from our Updates Center. Installing the package will generate a trial key allowing you to test if upgrading would solve your issue.
