we have grid with DataGridVirtualizingCollectionView and I wanted to solve sorting by subscribing methods SortDescriptions.CollectionChanged. But CollectionChanged of SortDescriptions is calling many times, when I click once to column header for sorting.

What is the correct solution for sorting of virtualizing collection in Xceed grid?

There is no other method, unfortunately, to handle changes on the SortDescriptions. The correct method to implement sorting on the DataGridVirtualizingCollectionView is to implement the QueryItems event.
