Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Getting this error on every example of the QuickStart in Chart for ASP.Net (latest version). Installed and tried, then put in the license and still not working.

Can you send more details to support, so we can investigate this issue?

Are you referring to the Xceed Chart Explorer for ASP.NET or to the samples in the Sample Folder?

It happens in the Chart Explorer, and the error occurs at the first line that contains an <xcwc: tag in every example.

    Details: Windows XP SP2 box

The sample explorer works fine here. With what browser (including version) are you trying to open it? Have you tried the <a href="http://demo.xceedsoft.com/XceedChartExplorer/">Online Chart Sample</a> from our web site, to see if you get the same problem?

Re: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I get an Object Reference not set to an instance of object error on my site... which has nothing to do with the client. It is a server side error. Was there some error in installation I should check for, like the .dlls being registered? What is soemthing I can check to troubleshoot this?

Re: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Are the dlls in the GAC? You can try a repair of the installation to be sure. You can also generate a log of the installation and send us the resulting file, so we can verify if every thing is OK.

To obtain the log file , run the installer from the command prompt with the following parameters :

    XceedComponents.exe /V"/L* <PathToLog>XceedComponents.log"
