Simple socket communication

Is there a way to use any of your .NET controls at this level?

Functions like the following are what I am after:
Control.Listen(IP,Port)
Control.Send(IP,Port,String)
Control.ReceiveUntilMatch(string)
Control.Broadcast(Port,String)
...

None of our .NET control expose functions at this level.
The .NET Framework was already covering a lot of this "area".
