    Multiple Manual Backups Bug?

    Hi.

    Do a manual backup, c:\programming\*.* to d:\programming.
After this backup, I select another manual backup, c:\myfiles\*.* to d:\myfiles

When the 2nd backup is done - I have both, d:\programming & d:\myfiles within the backup.

Is this a bug? I have looked high and low for a XB1.Clear ? RESET? and any other command to clear the xceedbackup - but to no avail. I can reproduce this (bug) each and everytime. Do a 3rd manual backup and you will definately know that something is wrong!

Currently - I have close the program, reopen it to do another manual backup.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards
    Mike

    Re: Multiple Manual Backups Bug?

    Hi Mike!

I've tried to reproduce this problem, and I can't. Are you using "AddFilesToProcess"? This method adds a line to the FilesToProcess property. To reset the property, simply do <b>FS.FilesToProcess = ""</b>. I personnaly always set the mask directly to the property, like <b>FS.FilesToProcess = "c:\programming\*"</b>. This makes sure to remove the preceeding mask.

If this doesn't help, try sending an email to <mail>support@xceedsoft.com</mail>.
