I'm creating a self-extracting exe using the compression library.

I'm setting the SFX's icon using the SfxIconFilename property, but icon appears in a really poor quality (looks like it was downgraded to a 256 colors pallete).

Any idea how to make it use the original quality?

The SFX binary only supports 16 colors icons. That is why the rendering of a more complex icon will not work properly.

At this point, it is not intended to change this.
