There was a issue with the Timeouts and it has been fixed in the service release that will be available next week.  Also, the Disconnected state was not processed as it should have been since version 4.0 and will be corrected in this service release.

We tested with the latest update after your post and still got a crash. We have after that tested other solutions but are curious if this matter has been resolved in later updates.
