I am using 3.0 version of the grid. Latest version from Sept. 5th.

 When I sort a column I receive this error:

System.InvalidOperationException: The GeneratorPosition to remove cannot map to a non-realized item.

Please help as I was given a limited amount of time to switch from 2.0 to 3.0 version and did not forsee problems like this.

I have install the latest servie release but I still getting the same exception:

I trim the rest of the stack trace as it was already posted here several times.

Can you explain to me what is the nature of this exception, maybe it will help me understand what is it that I'm doing wrong.

 

It crash my application in very ugly way, and it hard for me to explain to the customer why this is happening.

Have you checked that your code know that the item container is generated async, which means that if you have an item in the source of the control does not always mean you have item container to go with it?

    Can you provide more details concerning the steps to reproduce the exception? Also, can you verify the references to the Xceed DLLs to make sure you are indeed referencing the latest version and not some local copy of the previous version.
