[Backup Library] Error restoring registry keys

I'm backing up a registry key leg, which contains subkeys. It backs up fine, but when restoring, it fails with error 1114 (key could not be restored). The restore then fails with error 1532 (files skipped).

Its not a permission problem, as I've deleted the whole leg out of the registry, so its recreating it from scratch. It also does it on numerous legs, which leads me to suspect its a size issue - it can only restore a certain amount of keys.

I've read in another post that the reg backup part is lightweight, and its not designed for anything heavy. Is it something thats going to be looked into?

Is the ActiveX part of this library still being developed, or is it all moving to .Net now?

The library is not being developed anymore.  We focus on .NET, WPF and Silverlight right now.

I presume this is the same with the SmartUI OCX component - this too is no longer being developed?
